Dorothy Hill Fostering Women in Earth Sciences

Your support will go towards fostering the development of women in Earth Sciences to achieve and be inspired. These opportunities will help young women to engage in community and industry based experiences through student exchange, study tours, and professional and personal development experiences. In honour of Dorothy Hill, your support will enable us to shape women leaders of the future. Dorothy Hill (1907-1997) was a University of Queensland geologist and paleontologist. She has the distinction of having been the first female Professor in Australia, as well as the first female President of the Australian Academy of Science.
